SWTOR Weekly Warzone Passes Bugged

Recently I bought some weekly warzone passes off the GTM in Star Wars: The Old Republic.  I got them at a good price, but noticed the passes were grayed out.  Normally if a Cartel Market item is grayed out, it means your character has already unlocked the item.  I had no active warzone pass though.  When I tried to use one, it said I had already unlocked that item.  I tried everything, but the warzone passes were still bugged.  I wasn’t sure what to do, so I did a little searching and found that grayed out weekly warzone passes have to be replaced.  This also goes for other items.  As a Preferred account, I can’t post to the forums.  Preferred accounts also cannot create a help ticket in game.

The first thing I did was have a subscriber friend put in a ticket for me.  They told my friend to call technical support.  I called technical support, and they told me to put in an email to support@swtor.com for help with my grayed out warzone passes.  So I sent an email with:

  1. My Account Name/email
  2. Character the grayed out warzone passes were on
  3. Number of grayed out warzone passes
  4. Server my character was on

I got an email back, and my problem fixed, in 24 hours.  I was surprised at how fast and easy it was.  A CSR logged into my character, verified the problem, then fixed it.  A friend even sent me a message asking if I was being hacked!  As soon as he did, I got the email notice.

Moral of the story, if you have a problem with a Cartel Market item being grayed out, email technical support.
